Welcome! These pages are dedicated to a rebuilding project done by DarkLight AS in Tromsų, Norway. We have since October the first 2003 worked on a rebuilding project to convert an old arcade racing simulator into a modern coin-operated X-Box driven entertainmentmachine. These pages will go through the rebuild in detail. Before undergoing this project, we gave Microsoft Norway a ring to investigate the legal aspects around this rebuild. Tony at Mircrosoft was very positive and eager to help us complete this task. He even offred to send us some of the newest racing-games when they become available, fantastic! A big Thank You goes to Microsoft Norway for making this possible! November 17th - 2003 - An Update An update is long overdue, but the project is not on hold. We've rebuilt the top speakermounts with green neon lights, 6 by 9 inch 3-way speakers from Alpine, plexiglass-windows with locks and integration of the X-Boxes. We've also talked to a local school regarding the construction of the microprocessor-circuits needed to control the coin-mechanism and counting game-time. We still have troubles interfacing the arcade steeringwheel-feeback system with the force-feedback system from our Thrustmaster-wheels though.
